Unfoturnatley, Kula Yoga Studio Is closing at the end of March, full statement here >
Rocket Yoga is an energetic and playful practice inspired by the traditional Ashtanga sequence. It brings strength, movement and curiosity together in a way that feels uplifting and expressive. The pace is steady but dynamic, with variations that allow you to explore new shapes and transitions while staying grounded in breath and awareness.
At Kula, Rocket Yoga is taught with clear guidance and a supportive atmosphere. You will move through familiar elements of Ashtanga, but with creative pathways that open space for exploration. The class encourages you to work at your own pace, choosing when to challenge yourself and when to keep things simple. Nothing is forced, and every posture can be adapted.
Students often choose Rocket when they want a strong class that still feels enjoyable and light. The sense of play encourages confidence, while the structure offers enough familiarity to feel safe. Many people find that Rocket helps build strength, stability and focus in a way that feels energising rather than overwhelming.
Rocket is suitable for anyone who enjoys movement that is expressive, strong and a little adventurous. You do not need to be able to perform arm balances or advanced postures. You simply need curiosity and a willingness to explore.

Get to Know Our Teachers
We have some very difficult news to share.
Kula Yoga Studio will be closing at the end of March.
We are beyond heartbroken. We worked hard and put so much into building this space and to grow a genuine community around it. For personal reasons, we have decided to close the studio. It has not been an easy decision at all.
If you have an active class pass, please use your remaining sessions before the end of March. We will contact anyone we believe may be affected to make sure everything is clear.
To every yogi who has been part of Kula, past or present, thank you. Your support, your time, and your presence meant everything. The community that formed in the studio is something we will always be proud of.
We would love to see as many of you as possible on the mat over the next month. Let us practise together and show appreciation for the space and for the wonderful teachers who have given so much to it.
Thank you, to every one of you, for making this space so special.
With gratitude, Kate.x
