Unfoturnatley, Kula Yoga Studio Is closing at the end of March, full statement here >
Beginners Yoga is a gentle and supportive introduction to the foundations of yoga. The pace is steady, the movements are simple, and there is plenty of time to understand each posture without feeling rushed. The focus is on building confidence, improving body awareness and learning how breath and movement work together.
At Kula, we teach Beginners Yoga with care and clarity. Your teacher will guide you through each movement step by step, offering variations so you can explore what feels comfortable for your body. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, with space to pause, ask questions and practise in a way that feels safe and steady.
This class is ideal if you are brand new to yoga, returning after a break or simply wanting to refresh the basics. You will learn the foundations that support every other class on our timetable, from simple standing postures to gentle flows and guided rest at the end of each session.
Beginners Yoga is a chance to slow down, connect with your breath and move in a way that feels reassuring and enjoyable. Many students find that this class helps them feel more comfortable in their bodies and more ready to explore other styles when the time feels right.

We have some very difficult news to share.
Kula Yoga Studio will be closing at the end of March.
We are beyond heartbroken. We worked hard and put so much into building this space and to grow a genuine community around it. For personal reasons, we have decided to close the studio. It has not been an easy decision at all.
If you have an active class pass, please use your remaining sessions before the end of March. We will contact anyone we believe may be affected to make sure everything is clear.
To every yogi who has been part of Kula, past or present, thank you. Your support, your time, and your presence meant everything. The community that formed in the studio is something we will always be proud of.
We would love to see as many of you as possible on the mat over the next month. Let us practise together and show appreciation for the space and for the wonderful teachers who have given so much to it.
Thank you, to every one of you, for making this space so special.
With gratitude, Kate.x
